Dr. Julia King, Ph.D.

Dr Julia King is an author, educator, and architectural historian. She has taught at universities and lectured widely on art and architectural history topics in Great Britain and America. In addition, she has worked on numerous projects in areas of conservation, historic preservation, archives and architectural history across Europe and the United States.

Dr. King earned her PhD at Birkbeck, University of London, MA at Brookes University, Oxford and BA at the Courtauld Institute. She has written three books, the most recent of which is George Hadfield: Architect of the Federal City.  Her academic and literary contributions also include numerous journal articles, reviews, and contributions to collective works, newsletters and many other publications. 
 
In addition to her writing and research, Dr. King provides frequent lectures and presentations to groups, societies, and organizations in Europe and North America. She is an active member of numerous historical societies and frequently presents at conferences and symposia.
